Superb dentist. Listens carefully and carefully and very calmly explains the state of a poor tooth after an examination. Once a patient understands that, a patient can then take careful care of a particular tooth, to avoid/prevent future problems. I appreciate the fact that Dr. Hsu practices preventive medicine. Dr. Hsu has that natural medical gift to explain, from which her patients can greatly benefit and protect their teeth from future problems. And her staff is most accommodating, and most pleasant to interact with.

I didn't expect to meet such a good dentist in the Bay Area. The doctor was professional but the treatment process made me feel very relaxed. The outpatient appointment didn't take too long. The counter staff was very patient and kind. The doctor was very fluent in Chinese. It solved the problem for me for a long time. There is no problem that cannot be treated well. During the treatment process, the doctor is completely focused on the details but there is no pain. After the dental evaluation, he will not over-sell unnecessary treatments. If you are worried about going to the dentist or need Chinese services, this is a great place to experience it.

I needed a crown that had fallen off to be put back in. I was able to get a timely appointment, Dr Hsu was able to clean the crown, prep, and replace it all within 30 minutes or so! Very professional. I’m delighted with the result, and the service.

Our family has been going here for years (pre- Dr. Hsu as well) and the service is excellent! The whole staff is cool. They’re knowledgeable, invested, take the time to listen and answer any questions you may have.
Dr Hsu herself is engaging, funny and cares about what is going on with you (and your teeth).
It’s not a just “get you in, get you out” experience.

I lost a very old filling over the holiday, and Dr. Hsu's office promptly found a slot on Monday to fix the problem. The whole procedure was perfect. The appointment was kept on time, Dr. Hsu was able to refill the tooth, and I've felt no pain during or after the procedure. I'm 74, so I was happy we could save the tooth without a crown or root canal. Dr. Hsu is the best!

Had two cavities filled and I don’t like Novocain, so I insisted on skipping it. Dr. Hsu did masterful work, assisted by a staff that moves like a finely choreographed ballet dance. I never felt a thing and was finished in an hour. Bonus: normally, a new filling is sensitive to temperature for a few days, but not this time! Good as new without any side effects. Thank you for the terrific care!!!

I love Lark Dental. Dr. Hsu and her staff are the absolute best. They are thorough, yet gentle, and have all the latest and greatest technology and equipment. I trust them completely and will stick with them this year, even though they are no longer in network with my insurance. I will change my insurance during next open enrollment so I can stay with them indefinitely.

Dr. Hsu is so very excellent! And her staff is equally as fine. When I came to this practice, I’ve had a long time dentist of 25 years who I’d love I still feel the same way now. Dr. Hsu is a hands-on dentist with an excellent staff. I would recommend her to anyone considering trying someone new.

Dr. Hsu took over the practice of the Dentist I had been going to for over 20 years. I was worried about having a new dentist after so many years. Two years in with Dr. Hsu and we are thrilled Dr.Rindge chose her to take over his practice. She is a great dentist! As well as a kind and caring person. She and her team are friendly, welcoming and great at what they do. Greeted with a smile and by name when I walk in. They ask about my family; recalling details I have shared in the past; about vacations, kids, and work. Amazing when they only see me every 6 months. A great doctor not only knows what they are doing in their practice but also shows the patients they care by getting to know them. Dr. Hsu and her team have taken that time from the day she took over at Lark Dental. Thankful that I still look forward to my visits to the Dentist. Thank you Dr.Hsu. By the way; the cleaning is thorough and gentle too. Highly recommend this office.

Awesome dentist. Great visit every time! However the practice just got sold and Rindge retired, leaving the practice and patients to Dr Hsu. Upon my visit, I like her a lot, but would have been nice to know ahead of time I was switching dentists. Maybe I missed an email?

Rather than the hygienist doing a teeth cleaning, the doctor did it today to remain acquainted with my mouth. This is a regular occurrence every 3 or 4 visits. I’ve never had a dentist do that.

I had some very negative dental experiences with several dentists my insurance sent me to after the retirement of both my longtime, outstanding dentists. Lark Dentistry showed me caring, full explanations and excellent, nearly painless results, working to accommodate my impacted schedule during a dental emergency. They don't send out to a lab, requiring second visits and additional drilling, but do expert work in house. My teeth and mouth are worth the extra cost, aren't yours?

Wonderful doctor, hygienist, and office staff! I was worried when my favorite dentist I had been seeing for over a decade retired but am so pleased that he carefully chose a very kind and talented dentist to carry on the excellent standard of care, philosophy of complete dental health, and friendly environment. The location is super convenient too, close to Lark and 17. I highly recommend Dr. Hsu and Lark Dental.

The standard of care here is the highest I've ever experienced. Dr. Hsu will take care of you as though you are a member of her own family - never doing more than is necessary and going above and beyond when something is. In addition to being a great dentist, Dr. Hsu is super smart with a great sense of humor. I always leave my appointments with a smile on my face.

Wonderful welcoming environment. Clearly Dr. Hsu, Michelle, and the rest of the staff really care about me. I look forward to our visits. I particularly like how they customize treatment to my preferences. I don't like ultrasonic cleaning, so they don't use it on me. I don't like Novacain and so they don't use it on me. This place is just perfect.
